Pre eyelash extension preparation recommendations
The only preparation recommended is that you wear no eye makeup to your service appointment as it interferes with the adhesives.
Post eyelash extension care
Below is a guide for your post-lash extension care and if followed will assist you in maintaining the integrity of your natural lashes, keeping your extensions looking fresh, and keeping your retention as long as possible.
Avoid using products near the eyes with oils, glycerin, & dimethicone as these ingredients can break down the adhesive’s chemical bond.
Avoid any steam/saunas, this will break down the adhesive immediately.
Avoid rubbing your eyes & picking, pulling on your extensions. This is bad for your retention but even worse for your natural lashes! Picking at your extensions can cause your natural lashes to break or pull out a healthy lash causing the growth cycle to be slower than its natural rate.
DO wash your lashes daily with a lash wash, preferably every morning before any skincare or makeup application & at night after you’ve washed your face, prior to nighttime skincare application. *Fan dry with a handheld fan
Sleeping on your back as much as you can is highly recommended, this helps prevent any “rubbing” or “squishing” of the extensions.
Receiving bi-weekly fills is recommended to keep your extensions fresh, as your natural lashes grow your extensions “grow-out” with them. Shedding of natural lashes is normal, the extensions fall off with the shedding of your natural lashes.
Remember, brushing your lashes is always good! This helps maintain the shape of your extensions that was made unique for you!
